  • No Equipment, No Problem CECs: ACE 0.2, AEA 2.0

    Course Length: 2 hours (1 hour lecture, 1 hour practical application)

    No equipment, No problem is an aquatic exercise class in the shallow water consisting of intervals within intervals and choreography sequencing with no additional equipment required. No equipment, No problem is a fast paced class which continues to build upon itself so that each series is a more challenging version of the previous set. This class is perfect for new instructors and veterans alike who need at least one new idea to return home with!

  • Ply-H2O CECs: ACE 0.2, AEA 2.0

    Course Length: 2 hours (1 hour lecture, 1 hour practical application)

    Ply-H20 is a collection of plyometric exercises to challenge and improve the skills of athletes participating in a variety of field, court, winter, and individual sports. Ply-H2O is a non-choreographed aquatic exercise class in the shallow water which alternates intervals of high intensity plyometric drills and active recovery. The plyometric drills are designed to improve sports related skills including vertical jumps, continuous jumps, vertical power, lateral explosiveness, and quick change in direction. The active recovery intervals feature suspended movements and core training.

    Note: Plyometric training is considered high risk activity for the general population. This course is designed for athletes and physically fit participants free of movement restriction and injury. Lower-impact alternatives for the plyometric exercises will be demonstrated for those protecting fragile joints.

  • Waterworks CECs: ACE 0.3, AEA 3.0, AFAA 3.0

    Course Length: 3 hours (2 hour lecture, 1 hour practical application)

    Reinvent yourself, your teaching style, and your classes with new choreography and class formats. Don't know how to start, or think class planning is a drag? Jackie will provide the templates and you'll make them your own. Two hours of brainstorming and idea sharing will yield results in the form of multiple class blueprints and new choreography for weeks to come! After creating your class blueprints, relax, enjoy class, and watch as Jackie teaches one of the courses you helped to create just moments before!

  • Tidal Mania Aquatic Circuit CECs: ACE 0.2, AEA 2.0, AFAA 2.0

    Course Length: 2 hours (1 hour lecture, 1 hour practical application)

    Take your athletic conditioning class to the water! Show your participants that water ex isn't just for seniors and physical therapy. Generate intensity in your aquatic cardio classes without compromising your participants' safety. Speed is only one of the numerous options to adding variety and increasing intensity in water exercise classes. Have your class sweatin' and swearin' by the time they're done with these intense stations and grounded recovery.

  • One-Sided CECs: ACE 0.2, AEA 2.0, AFAA 2.0

    Course Length: 2 hours (1 hour lecture, 1 hour practical application)

    Cut your workout in half. Experience an increase in the number of movements & exercise variety by working the body unilaterally & literally cutting your workout into two halves! 50% of the workout will be conducted on the left side of the body and the other 50% on the right.

    Equipment: buoyant dumbbells or drag equipment (1 set per person)

  • Deep Water in 32s CECs: ACE 0.2, AEA 2.0, AFAA 2.0

    Course Length: 2 hours (1 hour lecture, 1 hour practical application)

    Everything but the kitchen sink is packed into this deep water workout! Varying tempos & planes of movement, intervals within intervals, and building block choreography comes together in a grand finale of four 32-count combinations.

  • Seamless Deep CECs: ACE 0.2, AEA 2.0, AFAA 2.0

    Course Length: 2 hours (1 hour lecture, 1 hour practical application)

    How can you take a common exercise and make it new? We’ll talk about every exercise you’ve ever tried in the deep water and discuss progressions and regressions of those base movements. Add flowing transitions to create a linear flow with no repeats to fill an entire class! Seamlessly transition from one deep water exercise to the next. Participants will experience varying tempos, multi-planar movement, and an exercise library of 100 exercises!

  • Seamless Shallow CECs: ACE 0.2, AEA 2.0, AFAA 2.0

    Course Length: 2 hours (1 hour lecture, 1 hour practical application)

    How can you take a common exercise and make it new? We’ll talk about every exercise you’ve ever tried in the shallow water and discuss progressions and regressions of those base movements.   • Stability & Mobility: Aqua Yoga Blend CECs: ACE 0.2, AEA 2.0, Arthritis Foundation 2.0

    Course Length: 2 hours (1 hour lecture, 1 hour practical application)

    Take your yoga practice to the pool! Experience flowing, dynamic, and mindful movement with an emphasis on balance, coordination and functional strength. This yoga fusion class will provide ideas for rehabilitative or senior programming to enhance activities of daily living, range of movement, stability & mobility.

    Location: shallow water pool (a warm water pool is ideal, but not necessary)

  • Kickboarding Circuits CECs: ACE 0.2, AEA 2.0, AFAA 2.0

    Course Length: 2 hours (1 hour lecture, 1 hour practical application)

    Experience non-traditional uses for the kickboard in shallow water. Alternating between high intensity interval training, and active recovery intervals, instructors will take 20 new kickboard exercises back to their classes plus ideas for dynamic stretching. Location: shallow water pool

  • Kickboard Challenge CECs: ACE 0.2, AEA 2.0, AFAA 2.0

    Course Length: 2 hours (1 hour lecture, 1 hour practical application)

    Surprise your participants by using a kickboard in your next class for higher intensity cardio intervals and more challenging strength circuits. Kickboard Challenge is a fast paced shallow water class which incorporates both cardio and strengthening exercises. We’ll perform every exercise with the kickboard starting from minute one!
